After the interview has finished, don’t think enough because there are a few effective tactics you can apply that will greatly improve your chances of getting cruise ship jobs that set you that leading edge, apart from your competitors.

Send the recruiter a post interview letter

It’s a nice idea to send a letter after your interview, saying ‘thank you’ to the recruiter. This is a rarely used but very effective correctly can get you hired.
You can express your enthusiasm, interest and desire to work for the company and restate your availability. Keep this letter short and to the point in a few paragraphs. don’t forget to ask for the job! Address the letter personally to whoever conducted your interview. Then send a post interview cover letter, ensure you have a great advantage over the other applicants.

Respond to a rejection letter

This is unusual but believe it or not, somebody almost never thinks to do this whereas it will give you the edge over your competition. An example a girl who recently had an interview, unfortunately received a rejection letter. Of course, she was extremely upset by this. The most people would be disappointed and even give up. But not this girl, with great determination she sent a letter straight back to the company, thanking them for the interview and also re-affirmed her aspirations to gain employment Less than a week later the recruiter contacted her to give her the job!

She’s now enjoying a six-month cruise round South America and the Caribbean and getting paid for it!

This is an excellent example of persistence and determination will pay off in the end.
